State that, in this module, participants will have an opportunity to discuss those tobacco cessation medications, with the focus on nicotine replacement therapy (NRT) products.

• can help the counsellor recommend a dosage of NRT to the caller.
• Callers who are moderately to highly dependent generally benefit from the use of NRT, or other quit medications, to reduce nicotine withdrawal symptoms.
